DELPHI Event r0039265e0004365
Cosmic Ray shower
A muon is seen as two back-to-back tracks in the TPC with minimum ionization
in the calorimeters.
It is clearly identified as a cosmic by its offset in x,y and in z
with respect to the interaction point.
It is accompanied with a large number of showers in all DELPHI calorimeters.
These are due to particles missing the central detectors and thus not
reconstructed as tracks.
The presence of additional tracks can, however, be inferred from the pattern of
the depositions in the calorimeters, especially in the z,y view.
